Students, residents, faculty, staff, and officials gathered at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ on Friday, January 27 to honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event titled, "A Day Celebrating the Life and Service of Martin Luther King Jr." was hosted by MSJC's Council of Black Leaders Achieving Change, Umoja, A2Mend, Ujima, and Sankofa.
The San Jacinto Campus is open for classes and events today, Jan. 27. The high winds that caused yesterday's closure have ceased and we are back to normal operations. Reminder: The campus is welcoming students, employees and members of the public to attend A Day Celebrating the Life and Service of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 11 a.m. at the San Jacinto Campus Theater.

The informative and inspiring annual event honors the history and achievements of Dr. King's vital work on racial equity.
The senseless shooting on Saturday during the Lunar New Year celebration in Monterey Park, CA has left us devastated. The Lunar New Year is a holiday that represents so much to the communities we support and serve. The day is meant to be filled with hope, positivity, and is designed to bring family, friends, and communities together. This tragedy hits close to home, as we were shocked to learn the suspect was from Hemet. We mourn alongside our APIDA students, faculty, staff, and community and we ask you to join us in keeping the victims, their families and community in our thoughts.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) welcomed more than 15,000 new and returning students as the Spring 2023 semester began this week. Reporting a robust enrollment of a total of 15,055 students as of January 19, MSJC's enrollment tops the Spring 2022 headcount of 13,412 students.
The Spring semester is an especially exciting time. There are many activities through our Student Government Association, Club Rush and plenty of athletic and performing arts events.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) welcomed more than 400 eighth-graders from Banning and Beaumont middle schools to the San Jacinto Campus on Jan. 12 for an early introduction to STEM careers. The youths learned from women in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields at a STEM conference hosted by the local branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

On Friday, December 16, 2022, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) was honored to host the Winter Wonderland Fall Unity Celebration that helped grant Christmas wishes to over 50 families of in-need MSJC students.
