MSJC Celebrates Grand Opening of New STEM Building at the San Jacinto Campus

A ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by college officials, local leaders, and community members celebrated the completion of this transformative facility designed to enhance educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Dr. Roger Schultz, MSJC President/Superintendent, addressed attendees, stating, 鈥淭his state-of-the-art, three-story STEM facility is more than just a building鈥攊t represents our commitment to providing a world-class education that meets the needs of the 21st century. This new STEM building is not just an investment in our campus鈥攊t is an investment in our community's future. It will serve as a hub of knowledge, creativity, and opportunity for students from all walks of life. Together, we are transforming a future that is as boundless as our students' potential.鈥�
With 48,701 assignable square feet, the new STEM facility is equipped with modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, and specialized resources that will support disciplines such as biology, anatomy, physics, astronomy, microbiology, and chemistry. The building features math labs, general study areas, and dedicated spaces for faculty to engage in teaching and research.
