MSJC鈥檚 Temecula Valley Campus Recognized for its Interior Design

American School & University Magazine has recognized 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Temecula Valley Campus for winning Outstanding Design in 鈥淚nterior Work In Progress鈥 in its 2019 Educational Interiors Showcase issue.

MSJC hired 19six Architects to dynamically transform a five-story office building into an innovative college campus that will welcome students in fall 2020.

The magazine recognized the architectural firm and campus in the August issue, highlighting how 鈥渢he campus is designed with an emphasis on shared spaces where students from different classes can collaborate in a team environment.鈥 It also appreciated the use of glass walls to create 鈥渢ransparency and visibility throughout the interior.鈥

鈥淲e are honored to work with a team like 19six Architects,鈥 said Beth Gomez, Vice President of Business Services. 鈥淭hey certainly deserve to be recognized for their work. This campus is a milestone in the history of the district and we are excited to open it to the students in our southwest region.鈥

The Temecula Valley Campus will provide students 22 classrooms, 6 science labs, and 5 computer classrooms. It will also offer a Learning Resource Center, Library, Student Life, Health Center, Veterans Center, and Student Services 鈥 including enrollment, counseling and financial aid. The campus also will feature a bookstore, caf茅, art studio, career center, transfer center, and campus safety.

鈥淲e are pleased to bring this beautiful and innovative, state-of-the-art higher learning facility to Temecula, Murrieta and the surrounding communities,鈥 said Dr. Roger Schultz, Superintendent/President. 鈥淚t will be extremely conducive to student success and collaboration.鈥

A Temecula Valley Campus Transformation Celebration will welcome the public to the new campus at 11 AM Friday, Sept. 13, to share renderings and updates on the project. It鈥檚 at 41888 Motor Car Parkway, Temecula.
